It is historic, charming, interesting, quiet, comfortable, clean, reasonably priced, and great continental breakfast. We loved it!
No air conditioning.

The Queene Anne is historically interesting and charming. Our double queen room was very comfortable for 3 of us. The larger corner rooms looked much more charming and comfortable -- we might splurge for a corner room next time! The continental breakfast was excellent. Our room was at the top of the stairs above the dining room, and it was still very quiet. It was nice having old-fashioned windows to open, but air conditioning would be nice. ...read more

I loved the Victorian style.
LIMITED PARKING!

I was blown away by the antique furniture in the hotel. It was truly romantic. We spent some quality time relaxing by the fireplace in the parlor. This hotel is considered a bed and breakfast but the breakfast was only okay. I highly recommend the bed part since we had a 4-post bed with a canopy with gorgeous linens. And, the hotel is supposedly haunted but we didn't experience anything strange. Get your parking space early and don't plan on using your car in the city. They only have 18 spots so no late nights or else you'll have to move your car at 4 in the morning for another guest that is boxed in! ...read more

I loved the decor and the staff
was wonderful.

I would recommend this hotel to seniors and families with children. The breakfast was more in quantity and variety than I'd expected, the staff was exceptionally friendly and the room was bigger and more comfortable than I'd expected. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat. ...read more

Good central location, but safe and away from the noise of main streets.
Upkeep could be improved.

Charming, old, Victorian-style small hotel in a safe, central location. Quiet. Parlors and gas fireplaces give it a B&B feel. Rooms were clean, but hotel could receive extra cleaning and maintenance to make it shine. Good, basic complimentary breakfast. Nice to know we could come back to tea time in the afternoon to rest before going out in the evening. I'd go back again. ...read more

Older, period decor but everything was clean and neat.
It felt older.

Lots of burgundy colored carpets and walls, detailed wood work above doors, antique-y furniture. It was clean and pleasant and we loved the tea/sherry hour in the afternoon. The complimentary breakfast was nothing fancy but hit the spot- breads, fruit, pastries, coffee and juice.

The hotel had a lot of character and charm. We liked the sitting areas.
You had to pay for parking.

The hotel was built in the late 1800's with a lot of attention to detail. The upgrades made in the bathrooms made for a very comfortable and pleasant experience. The sitting room was conducive to lingering and chatting with others. ...read more
